Remember a few weeks ago when my friend Kayla Craig joined me on The Couch to talk about the shows that are so good that we’d subscribe to their streaming networks just for them? Yeah? (Listen to that episode here, if you missed it.) Do you remember how we were a little off the rails and a lot talkative and had so much to say that I promised a second installment of what we’re now calling “a limited series”?

Yeah? Well, this is that. We’re back to talk more streaming services and more shows that keep us hitting the subscribe button. If you’ve been wondering what to watch on these streamers, we’ve got you covered!

We also are a little wild in this episode, as Kayla had just reached an enormous writing deadline and I had, in a strange coincidence I’m still not over, spent the previous night in the emergency room with my daughter. Not the daughter I’d been in the ER with the night before recording our first episode together. Nope. Different day, different daughter. It’s a weird time right now.

(Note: Everyone is fine. Just a little broken arm for one and a migraine for the other. They’re resilient and recovering.)

Thankfully, this is The Couch, where side notes and rabbit trails are always welcome, so when Kayla and I got distracted by talk of games on our phones, candle scents, and even Jessica Simpson’s memoir, it was okay.

Before we get started . . . have you bought your tickets for the live, in-person Hooked on Holiday Movies event coming up? Anna Rendell and I are hosting a movie watching party and live podcast recording on Saturday, November 19, near Kansas City, MO—and we want you to join us!! So book a flight, plan a road trip, or if you’re local, make a night of it! We’re going to have food and drinks, giveaways and crafts, and of course, the movie and the podcast recording. It’s going to be so fun; you don’t want to miss it! Grab a friend and put on something festive, and get your tickets today at hookedonholidaymovies.com.
