Every time it happens, I wonder, “Does anyone really care?” I’m talking about the return of the McRib. The commercials – and some of my Google finds – make it look like hundreds of people live for the day the McRib is brought of the McDonald’s vault.
I’ve never had a McRib. I’m more of a Quarter Pounder girl myself. Or lately, a Grilled Chicken sandwich girl. Have you all eaten the McRib? Do you love it? Do you stand in line the minute you hear it’s back? Am I alone in thinking this is all a little crazy?

No, you are not alone. I, too, know of nobody who longs for the return of the McRib — and I also don’t think I know anyone who’s tried it even. McDonald’s should do the same for chocolate and twist ice cream cones. That might actually draw lines. :)
My mom _loves_ the McRib. I don’t know that she makes an effort to go out and buy them (especially now that she’s got diabetes), but she really does love them.
And I’ve tried them before and liked them. I just don’t understand why they keep taking it away and bringing it back. Seems like a lot of hoohah over something they they could just offer all the time. I guess they figure that “absence makes the heart grow fonder” or something. :)

Bringing it out of the McDonald’s vault was really funny! I’ve never had the McRib sandwich. I’m not a big fan of eating at Mickey D’s. Although I do think they have some of the best french fries I’ve ever tasted. My dad likes the McRib. I’ll have to ask him if he’s jumping for joy right now about it coming back out.
Interesting…it seems to be only parents who love the McRib. And I just can’t see those practical folks (I know, I’m generalizing a LOT here) standing in line for a sandwich of processed pork dripping in sauce. Weird.
I always thought they looked gross myself…
