What’s that? You thought that because I watched the GLEE premiere the first time around that I wouldn’t watch it again last night?
Wrong!
I couldn’t do much more than that. After all, I did walk an entire mile last night. Oh, I didn’t tell you? That’s right – I’ve started exercising. Again.
And next week, I’ll be joining Weight Watchers. Again.
I’d love nothing more than to never say those words again. So I’m thinking about starting some sort of weekly fitness / weight loss / dieting / accountability THING on this blog.
What do you all think? Would you be interested in something like that? Would you be bored by that? Annoyed? Excited? Love it so much you want to marry it?
Let me know.
Until then, I’ll be stretching my legs. When you’re used to an exercise routine that consists only of lifting a gallon of milk out of the fridge and shuffling down the hall behind a slowly walking baby girl, a short mile feels like a 5K.
I can't believe I missed the "Glee" premiere last night. Does that mean new episodes start next week?? I could be very excited about that.
I've come to a peace with exercise. I actually enjoy it now, but I didn't when I was at your stage of life. This summer I actually took part in a weight lifting group three times a week. Can you just imagine five forty-something women lifting weights?? It was fun, and hilarious!!
As a fellow 'Weight Watcher' I would love a weekly blog post about all things weight watcherie. I am sure your humor would make counting my points daily a little less depressing.
A few ladies from my church are joining me on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays while Trinity is at preschool to walk 1.8 miles! I also signed up with E-Mealz and am doing their low carb meal plan. Slowly, but surely!
Yay for walking! You go girl! :)
I'd love it! I could sure use the help and accountability myself. :)
I'm totally GEEKED about GLEE…can't sing, never have, but the characters on that show are too odd not to be a BIG barrel of laughs.
I'm also a WW flunky…it happens.
Good for you walking a mile! You know I'm proud of you for ANY exercise you do. Just picture me on the sidelines shaking my pom poms: GO MARY! :) And of course I would enjoy reading your health and fitness blogs.
I 2nd Rochelle's thoughts — yep, I'm up for some accountability.
I keep thinking since I've started my tennis I need to be doing more. I'm feeling better, but not seeing the result I'd like as fast as I'd like. Imagine. The nerve of my metabolism.
Anyway, I'm totally up for some ideas, recipes, encouragement, all that good stuff!
Oh yes — and the most important thing — I'm proud of you!
I am completely out of the GLEE loop and need to tivo that bad boy.
And I'm all for accuntability! I'd love it!!
Sorry I haven't been in your comments lately! The pace of school is whoopin' my tail.
BUT, yes, I would be all about this kind of thing. Health, fitness, accountability, encouragement- I'm in.
And as for Glee? Oh, be still my beating heart. Just five days until the premiere!!!
Um..can I get a yeah for Glee!!
Love it. I've been doing the fitness thing since my second child was born- it does wonders for my energy!
