I got to spend a great evening with my sweet friend Brittany last night and then chatted for a bit with some other great friends. I also wrote a brilliant blog post yesterday – in my head. All that adds up to this: a celebrity lookalike post.
Here’s who I’m looking at today: Jamie Kaler from My Boys, Paul Bartholomew from commercials and small bits in movies and TV shows, and Sam Jaeger from Parenthood. What do you think?
If you haven’t seen Bartholomew in anything, here’s the Jeep commercial where I first noticed him. After that, it was like the guy was everywhere.

Have you noticed any celebrity lookalikes lately? (And how do you feel about singing and/or dancing animals in commercials?)

“I also wrote a brilliant blog post yesterday – in my head.”
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who does this :) LOL!
Nope. You are not alone!
Hey they do look alike. Had never seen that commercial before. Interesting. Sometimes singing and dancing animals is funny and I like it. Sometimes not so much.
I too write great blog posts in my head, those are usually the ones that never actually show up on my blog because by the time I get a chance to sit and type I no longer remember!
You have a point. Sometimes dancing animals are creepy. Or annoying.
I use to love that commercial! Too funny!
And writing blog posts in your head – I am so there with you! Since I started blogging I feel like I look at life as a series of different blog posts, even thinking of how I would creatively title each “post.” It’s probably something I should have checked out by a professional. :)
Oh yeah. The doctor who can treat that would make millions! Ha!
I think singing and/or dancing animals in commercials is completely wrong and violates those animals’ rights. That’s why I approve of Dodge using an invisible monkey for its commercial after PETA complained when they used a real monkey. ;-)
Uh-huh. Sure. :)
:)
I have hundreds and hundreds of blog posts in my head. They are my best work.
I just had to tell you that I have a friend who looks EXACTLY like Tom Selleck. I’m not even kidding. If you ever come visit me in Chicago I’ll introduce you to him and you’ll have an instant blog post. :)
Shelly, I’d LOVE to come visit you!! And my boss looks JUST LIKE Bradley Whitford. We should sneak pics of both guys and write a real-life celeb lookalike post! :)
I don’t think this counts, but I went to Willow Creek (the gigantic church in Chicago) this weekend and saw Penny from “The Big Bang Theory” and Sarah Jessica Parker on stage there. :)
Ooooh! How was Willow Creek?
Huge, as expected. But it was also a good service and I was still thinking about the sermon afterward, so that can’t be a bad thing. :-) Also, the pastor speaking that day (not the main guy) had an Australian (or New Zealand?) accent, so I quite enjoyed that. :-)
I write great posts in my head as well – in the shower!! I seriously come up with the wittiest
(is that a word??) and most brilliant posts while I’m washing my hair. Too bad the shampoo doesn’t have a sense of humor…
And I just watched “The Magic of Ordinary Days” last night w/Skeet Ulrich and the whole time kept thinkig he reminded me of someone. After I read your post, I looked it up and it’s Johnny Depp! They look SO much alike!
Yes! He DOES look like Johnny Depp! And I come up with all sorts of brilliance while showering and peeing. (Not at the same time. Just so you know.)
