The end of the year is coming up, but the end of my 31st year is coming up even sooner. Since my birthday is on Saturday, I’m going to take a look back at the best parts of my year this week.
First up? The food, of course!
I thought it was interesting, as I looked back on the recipes I blogged about this year, to see where I’d gotten my ideas for my cooking adventures and/or experiments. Half of them, I’d found on other blogs! A few were family recipes (my cousin Sarah makes the best dishes!), and the rest were dishes I threw together – I mean, created – on my own.

Did you try any new recipes this year? {Did you try any of MY recipes?} What were your favorites?
Great idea for a post. I just may have to borrow this in a few weeks.
I just saw your post this morning! I love it, because you picked recipes of yours that I want to try – and now they’re all in one place!
One of my new favorite recipes is pumpkin chocolate chip bread I got off your blog. it was great to have some for now and freeze some for a later party or just for me to eat.
I love how much that recipe makes, too!
Genius idea! I honestly want to try them all!
If you try them, you’ll have to let me know how they turn out!
I so share your intense love for Mexican food. Mmmmm. Need to try some of your recipes!
It’s pretty out of control, isn’t it? (my love of Mexican food, that is)
Thanks for including me, Mary! Off to check out some other recipes… yum. :)
Of course! I’m not sure what I’d do without blog recipes!! ;)
