I promise to stop talking about the cookie diet after this. But as I was searching for some old photos tonight, I found this one and couldn’t resist sharing it with you. Even my CAT thinks a diet made of cookies is a good idea!
Just one? Please, could I have just one cookie?
I found her rolling around in bliss on my bags of goodies after a holiday cookie exchange a few years ago. Of course I had to take a picture. You know, for blackmail, should the need arise.
This was actually the first and last time I’ve seen her go bonkers over cookies. She normally only wants dairy products – milk, yogurt, sour cream, Velveeta. I’m not even kidding.
Do your pets eat any strange people food? And do you have any [final] thoughts on the diet o’ cookies?
I’m afraid I would have to have only 1 cookie delivered each day or I would be laying on the table like your cat. No way could I do a cookie diet….lol..cute post.
My dog doesn’t get a lot of table scraps so he can stay healthy and because he has a bit of a sensitive stomach. He does however really like cucumber, “broccoli bones” (the stems from broccoli), raw carrots, and banana. He will sit and beg for banana if you are eating one like it’s a piece of steak or something. I mostly blame these odd food choices on us though for feeding him these things.
We don’t actually give our cats table scraps, either (she didn’t get any of those cookies, I promise!), except for milk and ice cream (just in an almost-empty bowl). I know it’s actually not good for them to eat the dairy, but they both love it! As for your dog eating veggies and bananas? That’s crazy! I wish I had healthy cravings like that! :)
Food? No. My puppy likes to eat paper products and bark. (I’m not saying he enjoys barking. I’m saying he actually loves to eat wood.)
My cat loves to chew on paper products, too. We never put our presents under the Christmas tree for that reason!

She also likes to lick the ink off of photos…

Mmmm…Pop Tarts. It appears I have something in common with your cat. Which is almost as weird as licking the ink off photos!
Bwhahaha! I love that pic! I don’t have a pet but did when I was growing up, but they just ate normal stuff and ran quickly away from the healthy foods. My cat sure did love my leftover milk from cereal and such though! *sigh* I need a pet.
Oh yeah – that cat in the photo LOVES leftover cereal milk and almost-empty ice cream bowls!
