Hebrews 10:14 tells us that, “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.” In other words we don’t have to keep striving for perfect. By sacrificing His son, Jesus, God has made all believers perfect.
Like he said, “It is finished.”
I like the way The Message translation of the Bible puts it: “It was a perfect sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people. By that single offering, he did everything that needed to be done for everyone who takes part in the purifying process.”
Rest in that truth today. I know I will.
