But this week, I’m getting all my fluffy posts out of the way. Plus, I mentioned to Brenda that I’d been thinking of posting about OUR celeb lookalikes…and she said she’s looking forward to it.
So you know I have to do it now.
Okay, here’s the thing: Hollywood will never make a movie about my life. But just in case it does, I want to be prepared. I want to decide who should play me. You should do the same.

First, the actresses I have been told I look like:

Whatever. This is my make-believe movie, so I pick the lovely Michelle Monaghan. She’s not mannish at all.

Back in high school/college, I was told I look like Jacinda Barrett and Alicia Silverstone. Not too long ago the teller in a drive thru told me that I look like someone from some tv show and when I told my SIL about it, she said she had thought that too when she saw the actress, but I have know idea who she is so I probably shouldn’t have commented about it… oh well :-D
I could see all those girls, but I’d probably agree with HM — mostly Brooke Shields. But Michelle works too (plus I just like her name;), although I don’t think her smile is as big as yours, and I don’t think her eyes are either (and not as pretty either, and I mean that sincerely:). As for Christine Baranski, you do not look old, but I could see maybe somebody would compare you to her because of the big smile? I dunno. I can kinda see it but I definitely wouldn’t have thought of it. Same with Neve, although I don’t really think she looks mannish (and you definitely don’t!) — maybe it’s her mouth or something. Not sure. It might help if she were smiling. Anyway, I’ve never heard of Michelle, and I’ve definitely never heard you compare yourself to her, so this comes as a complete surprise! Mine, however, will probably not… ;)
I’ve been told (by people) that I look like Sandra Bullock, Liv Tyler, Anne Hathaway and Cobie Smulders (from “How I Met Your Mother” — and that would be you who made that comparison;). Myheritage.com, however, disagrees. It says I look more like Britney Spears, Rachel McAdams and the Olsen twins than I do Sandra (or Anne or Cobie). (Who did you get, btw? Any of the celebrities you mentioned here?) Anyway, I guess I’m not sure. I’d probably go with Sandra. I think I just have some weird loyalty to her, like we’re long-lost sisters or something. At least cousins. ;) But Liv and Cobie could be stunt doubles or something (I don’t like being compared to Anne).
HM, I had to look up pictures of Jacinda to get a better look, and I think I see her more than Alicia. Mostly because of Alicia’s weird mouth (not bad, though; I like Alicia!:). I wish you could remember the other person though! Maybe Steph would?
Oh, I also wanted to tell you not to give up your fluff entirely!
HM, I can’t quite remember what you look like, even though I know we’ve met. I had to look up Jacinda, too, but I’ll take Chelley’s word for it that she’s your celeb twin!
You guys are crazy with the Brooke Shield business. :) I think my short forehead and thick eyebrows are what make me look like all those actresses – or mannish, if you will. As for Michelle Monaghan, I don’t necessarily think I look like her. I just think out of all the actresses I could think of, she seems like she could be me. Maybe.
And don’t worry, Chelley, I couldn’t live without a little fluff! ;)
chelley, I definitely see Sandra and I can sort of see Liv (although she irritates me so I don’t like to compare you to her ;-P) but I don’t think you look like the other ones…but I only know what they look like from imdb. The other day I saw a woman in the parking lot at Wal-Mart who looked JUST like you though–she even drove a car like yours!
I asked Steph who the other actress was and she said it was the woman from Crossing Jordan (not the main actress, but her friend)–Kathryn Hahn. I looked her up on imdb and the 8th photo of her with not much make up and her hair kind of sticking up and pulled back–she does look a lot like me! :-D
photo…if Brooke cut her hair and was kissing photobaby, she would be your twin in that picture! Same forehead, eyebrows (although yours are thinner :-D), same nose, same cheekbones…very similar!
And I must say Katheryn Hahn is my celeb twin…I can’t believe I didn’t know who she was…she looks just like me! Especially now since I dyed my hair that same color red… :-D

HM…..This is SO TRUE. In fact, I call that actress the HM Actress in my head (okay, not HM, but your actual first name)because she always reminds me of you. I think the first movie I saw her in and thought this was How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
P.S. Photo…in High School, I thought Nev Campbell was the most beautiful actress ever. I would’ve been so happy to look like her!

I've never seen 'Crossing Jordan' — she does look like you, HM, and not just in that one picture you said. ;) I think she should play you in a movie then, instead of Jacinda. ;) (If that's ok with you.;)

I just did that myheritage.com thing and uploaded three pictures…4 of my face matches are Asians! I am as white as white can be with blue eyes and reddish hair! I’m confused… My “twin” is Sammi Cheng. She showed up every time I uploaded a new photo.
lol — that’s myheritage for you (remember I got a bunch of tan blondes? And I got some Asians too, and a few boys;)
I did myheritage, and it said my “twin” is Cristina Ricci. Fair skin and dark hair…okay…but she has a HUGE forehead, and I have a strangely short forehead! It was just the angle of the picture I uploaded.

You guys are funny, and I am late. When i was a kid, I was frequently mistaken (yes, actually, mistaken – not just told I resembled…) the little girl from Poltergeist. Now, my daughter looks just like her. It’s weird.
I also used to be told I looked like the girl in Honey I Shrunk the Kids. But now, I’m not told anything anymore. Maybe celebrities are being told they look like ME. :)
Now I’m going to have to look up those actresses, Amy!!
i don’t remember who i was, although i might have been stephanie tanner and leonardo dicaprio (among others).
oh, and in case you’re wondering, heath ledger looks 94% like the same heath ledger picture.

Barb Sloop used to swear I looked like Claudia Schiffer. Um, don’t know about that one. I got Julia Stiles A LOT in college, but I also worked at a movie theater and her poster was on the wall… Most recently I got Anna Kournikova. Um, that must have been before kids and I’m not sure they were referencing the long-limbed look (Mallory got all of those genes) – just the blonde hair.
Oh, and stop it with the mannish. Not so!
