We don’t have a lot of storage space in our house. On the other hand, I have a lot of clothes. Mainly I have clothes that don’t fit, but getting rid of clothes that don’t fit is not the issue at hand.
No. Organizing my closet is.
How do you do it? Do you put away your off-season clothes? Under your bed in boxes? In those vacuumed bags that I see on TV? Or is your closet big enough for all your clothes at once?
Just kidding. Don’t tell me if that’s the case.
Seriously, what’s your seasonal wardrobe strategy?
I have a big closet. :) (I love it!:) But I also go through it all often and offer whatever doesn't fit to T-Dog. :) It's always kind of strange when I look through her closet though — brings back memories! (of when that stuff used to fit…)
We have a house made in 1971, so closet isn't really what we would call it around here… as much as "tiny opening with one small pole". I wish I had a real working solution. But I have to go get fall clothes (not winter) from the attic right now so I can have something to wear today. My four summer shirts have been moved. :)
I've taken over both of my children's closets! So, I have 1/2 closet that I share with Jason, 1/2 with Trinity and 1/2 with Chayton. That was my solution.:-)
Um, does using the floor as closet space count? If so, I am organized all over the house!!! hahaha
Shoot, I would love to hear some ideas. Right now I have two big boxes of maternity clothes and I still have a closet full of my regular clothes which I am not wearing. I would love to come up with something more streamlined for the next 6 months.
half of our closet is behind a wall and it's hard to see back there and get the clothes i want. so that's where my off season clothes go!
